Greece could see elections, again! – German newspaper Bild
FXStreet (Mumbai) - German newspaper Bild, carried a story on Monday, which quoted a Greek government official saying a reelection could get Syriza absolute majority, which would act as a further backing against Brussels.
A Greek minister told BILD: " We have nothing to lose. If the EU remains hard, we must show that we stand firm. The Greek population is behind us. " It is speculated that Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will call its citizens to the polls again depending on the outcome of the negotiations with donors.
Meanwhile, European Parliament Vice Alexander Graf Lambsdorff (FDP) told BILD," A new election would in fact be a referendum on the fate of the euro. If Syriza would be re-elected, then the Grexit is there. "
