Fed's Rosengren: US economy is strong enough to withstand trade issues

Commenting on the trade-conflict with China during an interview with Wbur Radio, Boston Fed President Rosengren argued that the U.S. economy was strong enough to withstand trade issues. 

However, Rosengren called trade an "uncertainty" and noted that any weakening in the economy from this stage due to trade would be noticeable. "The monetary policy is currently accommodative," Rosengren added.
