GBP/USD hits fresh lows below 1.6770

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The GBP/USD fell further during the American session and recently printed a fresh low at 1.6750, the weakest level since last Thursday. The Pound was among the best performers hour ago and now has erased gains across the board.

Currently the pair trades at 1.6752, down 0.29% for the day, headed toward the third daily loss in a row and the worst performance in almost two weeks.

GBP/USD down despite data

Earlier on European hours, slightly better-than-expected data from the UK boosted the Pound but lost momentum quickly. Tomorrow more economic data from the UK will be released with the employment report of April.
